Chinese herb Bai Zhi, Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, found to be useful in the treatment of vitiligo.

Research: 
Bai Zhi, which is commonly used for the treatment of psoriasis, has been found to be effective for the treatment of vitiligo as well. The researchers applied a topical application of Bai Zhi used in conjunction with sun exposure of 5, 10, and 30 minutes duration. Of 321 patients treated, 61.5% showed significant improvement.
